On the occasion of the Women’s Soccer World Cup held in France in 2019, we created for Wanda Group a competitive virtual reality experience of ball shooting for fans of the 2019 World Cup in France.
Esta experiencia se instaló en la fanzone de Lyon, en las fases finales de la competición y permitió a los asistentes del Mundial poder disfrutar de una experiencia futbolística tecnológica única.
This project featured the branding or personalization of the VR experience.
Un juego de VR que enfrentó en una competición virtual a los fans participantes, otorgando premios a los participantes con mayor puntuación.
The experience had the objective of making the female figure visible in soccer and therefore put the user in the shoes of a soccer shooter and faced a goalkeeper. At the stage level, the fan was transported to two different environments:
- The first stop was at the El Danzhai Wanda Village, a virtual recreation of the Danzhai resort town promoted by the Wanda Group, as part of its poverty alleviation program. In this emblematic space, fans were challenged to obtain the highest score based on their precision with the ball, hitting different static targets with it.
- Later, the fans went to the virtual stadium of the Wanda Metropolitano, whose physical edition is in Madrid, and they teleported to the field in the middle of the final, with the stadium packed with fans. In this second part, the user puts himself in the shoes of the penalty taker where he must beat the goalkeeper or rival and win.
A virtual reality experience for fans that we carried out together with our partners Happy Finish and Infront, and that moved all the fans of the Women’s World Cup in France.
